Jeffrey Goodwin

Jeffrey R. Goodwin is also a native of Worcester. He graduated from the Bancroft School and is a Phi Beta Kappa honors society graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He received his JD from New England School of Law. Attorney Goodwin is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Courts and is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association as well as its Bankruptcy Section. He has represented Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 Debtors for four years. Before joining Aframe & Barnhill, he interned with the Massachusetts House of Representatives and the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General. While in law school, Attorney Goodwin served as a Senior Literary Editor on the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. Attorney Goodwin’s article, entitled Massachusetts’ Struggle to Adhere to the Gideon Mandate: Will the Levallee Decision, Coupled with Legislative Reform, Finally Establish a State Indigent Criminal Defense System that is Constitutionally Sound?, was published by this Journal in 2006.
